Senior Band
The Senior Band are currently heads down and concentrating on pieces for forthcoming contests - the next one being this weekend in Preston - 'Brass At The Guild'. Competition in the Second Section is bound to be high, but obviously Morecambe Brass Band will be hoping to achieve a good result from our hours of effort! After that our concentration will still be switched on as we head towards Blackpool next month.....onwards and upwards possibly?! |

The Senior Band competed in the Second Section at Wilkinson's St. Helen's Contest on Sunday 15th November. Performing Triptych by Philip Sparke, we were delighted to win Second Place, with Chris Larder (our former conductor who many of you are familiar with) storming the section, winning the trophy for best solo performer. Nice one Chris! |

The band competed at Fleetwood Contest yesterday (Sunday 4th Oct) and achieved a very creditable 5th place with 183 points. Pretty good going for our new foray into the Second Section, and an enjoyable day was had by all. |
